MGB Universal MONO stand was created by marc
Original design by Modelgasboats.com.

This stand covers a great range of monos on the market today! The hull supports are adjustable so it's easy to get a perfect fit for your mono. Simply sit the hull on the stand and adjust supports to perfectly cradle it!

*** note: you supply the padding (foam tape, etc)

Available in two versions:
Short and Long. Short is 23" long excluding prop-guard and long is 28". Short has 3 frame crossers, long has 4.

Features:
    - all CNC cut quality birch plywood.
    - hull supports to adapt perfectly to the bottom of most monos
    - adjustable/removable prop guard to accommodate up to 6" extended rudders and even slightly more
    - built-in storage compartment
    Propshaft storage built into stand
    - can also be used as a display stand to hold boat tilted sideways!

* Can now be purchased in our Online Store - HERE

As a display stand....

Long Version...

I like the design and am sure I will take one (next payday now) but think I would like about 6" longer in the front

For me it would be nice to match the initial like my other stand -

Now ......... how about my Drambuie and my new Blast Cat ?????????

Be nice to do one in a laminate or thick black plexi -

Cool idea

Randy,

That's funny, cause my original version was longer at the front and I cut it down cause it just didn't look right and seemed too long!

For the initials, no prob... I can replace the hole in the propguard with your initials and do the front plate like on the rigger stand.

As for the laminate...unless someone can help me find some at a reasonable price, that would simply drive the price up incredibly. I really don't have a good source for it, nor do I know what actual material to use.

Very nice but
I agree with Randy.
Could you make it even 4" longer?
Will order one if you can.

This is unique as everything you lay hands (or CNC) on, Marc.
I promise to steal most parts of the design from you when I get that far in my slow build :)
But for my part I will prepare for carrying the whole shabang by mounting a couple of straps to go across the boat, and a couple of strap handles (like from some old sport bag).
This should make transportation easy and safe.
Hope you get the picture. ;)

Cheers! :cheer:

Absolutely... this stand can also easily have ropes/straps added to it for carrying the boats. I'm not pre-drilling any of this though, rather let customers do it how and where they want.

Longer version has been added. See original post at top. It's 5" longer and has an extra cross-brace because of this. The storage compartment is moved to the center. Notice I've added a holes that make a passage to insert propshaft into for keeping it safe outside of the stuffing tube when not in use. I know this will come in handy for me anyway! Both short and long versions will have this.
