New CC Racing 2-stage tuned pipe. was created by marc
I received my new 2-stage pipes from CC Racing today. Had a chance to do a little bit of testing in my cat...THIS PIPE IS NO JOKE folks! I will report back shortly with accurate numbers and pictures, but I can tell you all right now, it's TRUE bolt-on HP if I ever saw it! I'm VERY happy! :woohoo:

It is good to see another producer of the two stage pipes. I have one of Carmen's Need for Speed pipes and I will say the design really does add power. I don't have a dyno but the top end speed has increased dramatically on those boats I have tried it on. This style of pipe does make a difference.
I think it is along the same lines as the early (80s) Gp bike engines but improved on that with a modern twist.
Just some info for you.

Good to hear 2 stage pipes work so well! B)
Just about finished one for my 50cc, just got to find a real tight 1inch 90degree bend for the header.
It would be good to see comparison vids! ;)

Awwwww! Your little engine is sooooo cute!

If you can't find something in steel, try a plumbers shop and pick it up in copper.
Hope this helps.

Actually that would be perfect Moof' I only have room for the 90deg as it a continual taper!
Thanks! ;)

Two angles before center of pipe. I have Hansen pipes that are two stage.

Different industries seem to use different terminology. I am not sure what we mean by "2 stage" pipes. I am guessing it is a pipe with either two different angle/length difusers or convergent cones--or both. Is that right?

Actually the engine side cone would be your DIVERGENT cone and YES 2 stage refers too this cone having TWO angles of divergence before the maximum diameter and rear Convergent cone attaches. ( BTW convergent cones can also have multiple angles too )
