programmable CDI

Hi Guys.

does anyone know of a cdi kit suitable for zenoah type (rcmk) engines with adjustable mapping/ignition curve?

Im interested in developing the zenoah based engines to run on methanol and ignition seems to be the weakest point with these engines. fixed timing, wire plugs & dope = disaster!!

ive also got a few other questions in relation to availability of engines. I notice that there are a few people playing with reed/crankcase induction. Is there anyone making gas engines with rotary valve/crankcase induction and/or barrels with removable heads or inserts in order to play with squish design and combustion chamber design?

Ive been told the new 'powerspark' systems have changeable power curves etc.

The ignition looks good but i think its Transistor type and not Capacitive discharge, therefore probably wont have enough spark energy (15-20kv compared to 40kv for CDI)..
