Zenoah three bearing? was created by Mercury94
Can a RCMK crank case bearing be used in place of the seal on the output end of a Zenoah? If so what benefits would be gained or lost?

Have done so for YEARS ... Zenoah has made a double sealed bearing that is factory used in the PU aircraft engine. Yes the DOUBLE sealed rcmk bearing will work fine.
Advantage is a more rigid and better supported crank, less vibration generally ... a win win IMO

Would it be possible to use the RCMK brass seal plate?

No reason not too .. will fit just fine.
You will however need to shorten collet so it does not contact inner race of outboard bearing once going to 2 bearings on PTO side

If on the older cases with only 2 main bearings, if the PTO end used the big bearing diameter seal it could be replaced by a third sealed bearing most likely.
Pretty sure it will being most of the more current QD's have 4 bearing bottom ends.scott will this work on a two bearing hirev quickdraw .

So your saying the crankcase is made so it uses a small seal like used on the MAG side on the PTO side as well ?
If thats the case, then live with it. Not practical or really doable taking the bearings O.D. bore outward to stack a second one along side it.
Just run it as is, your just fine as it is designed.
