spark plug help was created by goesman
My little echo gt200r has a NGK BPM8Y. Its a non resistor plug and it made my radio stuff go nuts. I am trying to find a resistor plug that will work. I have saw mention of a BMR7A. Could that work even though the heat range is a bit off. I would run to the parts store and ask them but if you knew the idiots that work in the stores around here, they probably try to sell me glow plugs to a diesel. I imagine the motor Yoda Scott can help me out on this one.
Thanks,
Dan

That plug is what you want and heat range should not be an issue IMO.

BMR6A is doable too and common heat range the older Zen 230's used.
Nippon Denso also makes an equivalent plug.
Or in a pinch the Champion RCJ-8 will work too.
