tank pressure

my sikk cy26 seams to produce a lot of pressure in the gas tank,this causes the engine to flood very easly and will not start.i dont'know if this is normal but is enough to drive one crazy.

There should be no pressure in the gas tank at all. If using a hard tank (regular tank) you should have a line going to the carb and a VENT line to keep the tank at atmospheric pressure. You could also use a 3rd line for filling the tank, or use a T on the line going to the carb and fill from there. No other lines are required and no pressure line to the tank as with nitro boats.

If using a gas bag (bladder style tank) only one line is required from bag to carb, and use a T on this line for filling and 'burping' the bag (removing trapped air in the bag).

Gas pressure is created by the agitation and temperature change of the fuel itself.
Hard tanks using one way vents aggravate this because the pressure build up cannot bleed off or expand any place.

Bladder types tanks really work best because for one they don't require a vent, and by there nature of being soft and pliable can expand or contract with the fuel volume causing NO pressure into carbs fuel inlet.

** I will add tho, typically the amount of pressure a fuel system does create is not enough to cause flooding issues like you seem to be having.
MOST cases this is a USER issue caused from OVER CHOKING upon start up. If you are choking engine and once engine POPS once ... QUIT CHOKING !!
If engine pops and you pull threw again with engine being choked it WILL FLOOD !!
