Cooper Exhaust was created by
Hello everyone,
I just read the article at ( www.modelgasboats.com/Magazine...er_Muffler.html ) and decided immediately that I wanted one. Unfortunately, so far all the local hobby stores almost spontaniously combust when I tell them I want a QUIETER system. At any rate, nothing here in the Toronto area of Ontario, Canada seems to have anything resembling a muffler (they have exhausts, and some mufflers, but nothing of any interest). For reference here, if a cooper cannot be purchased, whatever the muffling device might end up being, its going to be attached to a ~1/2 inch outer diameter expansion chamber exhaust, and needs to be either fairly small, or about 3 inches long.
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to go about getting one of these? The only place I found that offers them is www.americanrcboats.com/produc...ngineacczen.htm and they don't seem to be very happy when shipping internationally (or not to the US). I might give them a call if it doesn't seem like I'm getting anywhere.
Thanks for your time
-Matt

If you call Zac at American RC he will ship you one no problem I am sure. I get a lot of stuff from him and I'm in Canada also. As Scott noted, the T-mod mufflers are good also, and Mike is a great guy. He too will ship to Canada.

Alright thanks guys.
I've emailed Zac, I tried to call him at the number listed at ( www.americanrcboats.com/contact.htm ) but the number has not been setup or something? It went to a blank answering machine. Anyway, I'll hold out for the email and if Zac doesn't get back to me, I'll try Mike. I really want one of those Coopers though, so perfectly small!
Thanks again!
