I have a stock-as-a-rock hydro (Pro Boat Ms Elam) and have the same problem. I think have everything \"dialed in\", and it dies. I understand too rich too lean etc., but the darn thing dies just as you say. I want to try the prop change, does anyone have suggestions? Type, brand, pitch?

Yup,I have the same boat only (Formula Hydro). It died 14 times last time out in the same corner. Infact you could place a marker in the turn and it would be almost at the same spot, dead on the water everytime. I've been reading that I should be running a oil/gas mixture of 16:1 instead of (the manual recomended mixture of 32:1). The motor seems to lean out and die,in the turn. The prop is the stock Prather 270,so I'm not sure if it is over proped or not. It sure is a pain, going out to retreve the boat every time in the same area.Ron
