i built a 58"cat with a s-254 rcmk and a 2" powermatser pipe some times it will get on the pipe, but for the most part it wont iv tried all i can think of to get this thing to run right now im woundering if it might be too rich, if i have the boat out of the water and give it gas it dosent have a smooth running sound, it sounds rich to me but to my freind it sound lean

If using the stock carb, lightly seat each needle, Low ( Closest to engine ) @ 1 1/2 turns open.
High ( Closest intake throat ) @ 1 1/4 turns open.

** What prop are you trying to run ?

If those props are really staying hooked up and not allowing rpm to come up, try running them shallower in 1/8" steps and see what it does ;)

could i have the pipe too far out, i moved it out more yesterday ande it seemed to run worst

Badd...I am a huge advocate of the IV bag. It has solved so many problems and was super easy to install. No more air bubbles running through the lines, frothing in the tank, gas spray all over the boat, easier starts, less inconsistency in running, and a clean look. If you haven't done it, go to he bag. 20 bucks with a fuel dot and lines from americanrcboats.com
