Makita rbc321 weed trimmer 30cc engine was created by jeffmoss5583
This is a major learning experience for me as i do not have much experience with gas boats. Had a kyosho jet stream years a go but was electric. I am currently getting started to build a 48in mono hull, going to put a makita 30cc engine in it. I,m wondering if anyone has modified one of these engines or is familiar with it at all. I,m having a little trouble with figuring out how to put motor mounts on it and connecting the flex drive to engine. I will post pictures soon. Thank you in advance for your replies.

hey jeff, looks like you might want to try and pull the nose off and remove the fuel tank that might help in mounting it,and with the nose off you could see the drive shaft and could figure out what it needs to connect the shaft. CB

Here are a few photos, finally figured it out, can only do one photo at a time. The engine has a clutch as you can see and the clutch bell is mounted in nose cover.
