Isuzu.

Nice with some good news! At some time I actually wondered if you would have to name your boat "Killed Kat" , but now it seems more suitable naming it "Broken Arrow". :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Anyway: Good luck with your build, and remember to post pics, as I will too.
Give your mother-in-law my best wishes.

Cheers! :cheer:

Well, I finished recutting all my formers, (spants) and decided to upgrade from 1/8" to 1/4"... I almost forgot the punishment she was going to face, and I believe the 1/8" might have come up a little short. I've already glued several of them in, should be able to finish that up in short order tomorrow and start skinning!!! :woohoo: I received an early Christmas present yesterday but never opened it... My engine couplers for my inlines!! :woohoo: Not working this week, should be pretty close to finished by the weekend!!! :silly: I don't know Woodie, that sure gives me alot of time for proper engine break-in and fine tuning!!! But only time will tell. I still have a few more hurdles I've got to get over!! Should be ready for some pics tomorrow or the next day!!! B)

Oh Woodie, I forgot... I think I will name it "Broken Arrow" Because it's probably going to be more dangerous than a run-away NUKE!!!! B) Thanks for the idea!!! :silly:

Hi Isuzu.

Whoah! Hold your horses you ole texan cowboy! You are about to get far ahead of me in the build!
Good idea though to put thicker spants in the boat. But should'nt you cut out the marked parts out of the spants before glueing?
You should know best about that.

For my part I'm just about ready to glue on the sides of the hull. My only problem is a painstaking need for absolute precision, and right now I still am in the process of deciding where to correct the spants with about 1/10 milimeter. Not lying to you :)

Cheers! :cheer:
