I sprayed some WD40 on the engine before I started the big time drooling, so no rust has been observed so far. :laugh:
About the build it's all about getting the engine rails to fit precisely on several spants and an angeled bottom. Still workin at it with great care. You know: nothing less than perfect is good enough for my sweet KAT KILLER! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Congrats with your Killer Kat. Can't wait to see the result and to see it's maiden run!

Sorry to say my hammer is not even nearly done (due to problems getting cnc-aluminium engine rails done).
But when time comes, Kat Killer comes, so watch out!

After six coats of primer... Got the first coat of base black on so I could start wet sanding. Thought I was alot closer to having it ready until I put the black on!!!! Shows all the imperfections, (which is why I used black) that I thought I had out. It's still looks good, but I moved the test date back to probably the weekend of the 17th. It's toooooo late in the game to rush things now.
