Killer Kat (Build Pics Updated)

I hear ya Woodie... I'm about ready to kill it myself!!!!! I just got back from the pond to give it another go.... 2 pulls on the first engine..CONTACT!!!! 5 pulls on the second engine..BROKEN STARTER SPRING!!!!!!!! I'm not going to try it again until my electric starter comes in!!!! I'm leaving to go out of town tomorrow to spend our anniversary on Lake Belton northeast of Austin!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I Love 3 Day Weekends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The MHZ-sterndrives, that I have ordered since january is STILL not in stock in the only place in the World, where I can get them from They just keep telling me next month, next month - and so it goes.

It's alright... with everything this poor Kat has been through, I can't (won't) give up on her now!!!!! Just really wanted to get in one good run before I went out of town BUT< when I get back, my starter will be here waiting on me!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: And then, It's gonna be on like Donkey Kong!!!!!!!!

What sort of starter will you use?
One for internal mounting - starting two engines???
If that is possible, you really have an issue about protecting it from water.
Or is it of the sort, that can be put on the outside drives?

It's a Sullivan Model #4 starter. I installed a Geezer wheel from zippkits.com on the back of the engines, and will use a starter belt...

They call it a Geezer wheel because OLD people like me like to use them!!!!!!!!!! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Yeah, I have been kinda quiet, been off health lately. I am not feeling myself (or anyone else either) as of late.
