Great race despite the weather. Lots of rain, wind and mud not to mention the very cold temps. Good to see old friends and those that I've only chatted with on the sites.
Thursday and Friday we worked to get the webcast up and going but it was either the camera or computer that gave us fits. Even a lot of calls to Doug Carter didn't help.
Amazingly I got into the Top 6 with the boat that I didn't think would, my Cat. I went there without high hopes expecting to be just an also-ran so anything from there was a plus. Dan and everyone from the club and those that also lended a hand did a great job, I salute you.
Wouldn't you know it, I stayed the night Saturday and drove home in sunny skies and calm air yet a little chilly. We sure could have used that a few days earlier!
I whipped up this video late last night, a slidshow of pix from the event that my daughter-in-law took along with around 500 shots with Dan's camera. I've got quite a few videos to upload yet.

I can't believe we didn't actually chat this weekend...I kept telling myself I have to go see him and say hi, then kept forgetting with everything going on. I'm sorry about that. I'm really not a snob!!! lol Glad to see you had a good time and did good. Congrats!

I think that we did talk briefly Tuesday or Wednesday morning. I was surprised that you knew who I was! I'm far from snobby as I spent a lot of time shooting the breeze with a lot of people.
We were camped way down by Turn 1 on the other side of the Davis family between the Notter's and Tony Jacuzzi so we were out of the crowd.

It was great meeting you guys again at the races in Celina and thanking all that participated. Kevin Sheren took good care of us supplying us with a couple of boats for the stock mono-class. What else to say that Dan and his team went out of their way to let all have a good time. Andre and I had a blast during our whole trip and now back in Europe and going through tons of vids and pictures next. My laugh-muscles finally can get a rest.... Will be posting pics and video soon!

Yes, indeed, a wonderful trip. Bad weather? Lol... I like that windy weather. Not so much rain just a few showers. We europeans got also some wood for home. Not expected, but very wellcome...
Was great to meet you all. Lots of old friends and making some new ones. Spending time with you guys is too funny.
Marc and I spent also some days in Chicago, a great city. But now I have to go through thousands of photos to pick the best of them.
