Russ is selling Genuine Zenoah not the inexpensive Chinese starter.

The Chinese ones require you to open up most mounts considerably. I prefer that method and do a similar mod to the mount and pawl nut even when I install a Zenoah EZ starter. Don't like it unless the starter is bolted on the mount with no spacers.

I open my mounts for the Zenoah and mill the snout off the pawl nut so the pullstart doesn't have to use a spacer. Much better installation.

You use a arbor in the front side and machine the snout off in a lathe.

The thread is 8mm diameter X 1.0 pitch
