My smokin' Cigarette.

Before my vacation in Norway, where I will bring doom to some huge salmons from the norwegian rivers, I have a small update of my wooden project.
After a lot of careful planing and sanding of the sides of the hulls profiles I am into gluing strakes to the chines.
I use PU glue (polyurethane). This glue foams and is very strong and water resistant.
One of the pics shows some of my little workshop.

I broke a leg in Norway and caught no fish. :silly:
This little injury means no modelboat-building for at least the next 6 weeks.
Meanwhile I still will check in on this forum to comment an take advices.

Hate to hear about the leg!!! But the brighter side, you've got plenty of time to suck back some suds, get the build right in your head, and go knock it out!!!! :silly: Love the build so far...Great Job!!!

That is to bad you should have got a bunch of salmon if you had to break your leg for them. Boat is looking good.

As soon I get out of that damn wheelchair, I will get back to my project.
Meanwhile my time will be used at my computer watching and learning from other fine projects in order to be ready for my own the day I again can stand on both legs...

Sorry to hear about your leg. As they say about "The best laid plans of mice and men" You know the rest.

hey there sorry to hear about your leg, but if it makes you feel any better,
I had my second spine surgery of the year at the end of june, been on my back since january, (litterley) started feeling like I wanted to try and work on the boats again a week ago and ended up in surgery again, but this time it was for kidney stones! :S

I think someones really having a good laugh at my exspence
