Ohh that damn Kat just won't die!
Jason: I hope your'e right about the submarining. But who can tell? Maybe that evil pussy goes airborne at the first wave. Both is fine for me as my Kat Killer mono some day will have to compete with this texan monster.
Isuzu: Just do your best. I don't mean to scare you off.
Cheers!
Woodie.

Now Brandon!
Don't get to hard on Isuzu. Remember that he is troubled enough in perspective that I have challenged him by letting my 56" mono outrun his Kat some day.
The challenge is in two parts.
1: Running a straight quarter mile from dead start and on flat water.
2: Running a straight quarter mile from dead start and on at least 4 inches of chop.
Winner will be found by adding top speeds from 1 and 2 and divide the result by 2.
(Should be a piece of cake for my Kat Killer). :woohoo:
Regarding the showdown, that Isuzu will be facing, I really think that we should try to cheer him up a bit.
Cheers!

Woodie,
This "joust" could soon become a three way duel. With your build progressing so slowly and Izuzududes rennovations..this give me time to get my hybrid going.
As for now I shall begin my cadd drawings and planning but everything I need I already have.
Your Kat Killer may slay the Killer Kat or the Killer Kat may slay the Kat Killer but will they slay he who is known as "Der Langsame"???
All the best,
Brandon.

Brandon.
Your'e right. I really am "Der Langsame". That's because I from the beginning was "thinking out of the box", putting money and effort in getting a setup with engine, gear, engine rails, and double sterndrives of the best and the most rare.
The building of the boat really is the easy part for me. The hard part has proven to get the hardware delivered. This is the cause of at least half a year of delay.
I have learned that if you want to do things in a special way, it takes time, $$, and patience.
That's OK. I will get there - once I get the nessecary hardware at hand.
Just wait and see!
Cheers!
Woodie.
PS: Brandon. About your own project. If you want it I will try to help with some boat-builders experience. My son - a marine engineer, could be helpfull too.

Brandon... It would be a pleasure if you would like to pertake in our little joust!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
That's just one more victim for my Kat to add to her list!!!

As long as you get them as low in those corners as you can it should be fine.
Unless you are buying special props most that are available are surface piercing anyway.
Should free up some more RPM from the powerplants= more speed.

Hey guys,
I understand the theory about surface drives being faster than submarged ones. But what is the situation when a boat leaves the water completely...props and all. Is there not a risk of over revving the engine??? :S
Izuzudude,
Your Kat cant slay something if its behind that which its trying to slay!!!
:woohoo:
All the best,
Brandon (Der Langsame)
