I paid close attention to Al Gore and swore global warming would speed things up, but my go to spots are still frozen. It is driving me nuts because I have a brand new winter build cat that I need to break in. I have even loaded it up in my truck, ran down to the lake on a sunny day in the 50's and it was still iced. We have a nice weekend coming up and I drove past the lake today; still frozen and I don't think it will be thawed with a couple 50 degree days. You guys down south and out west have it good. I can't wait for spring and April to come. I need to come out of this hibernation and get some laps in with my gassers. It has been months since I heard my pipes and I have done just about everything I could do prep all my boats for the new season. Well, rant over and here's to a new season. C'mon Spring.

Move to Seattle. Perfect 80* dry sunny summers, no bugs and no freezing temps in the winter. It doesn't rain near as much as people think.

It's so good to get my boats back on the water. I know this is corny, but it's like finding my center all over again at the end of a long work week. With all that's going on in the economy, and politics, and unemployment; it's so nice to find truth in my gps when I am making mods to my boats.

Such a great hobby...... so happy to be around the water again after a long winter. I think we hit 80 degrees today. Uppp....my burgers (on the grill) are done.
