I use one of the stinger drives and did a slight redesign of the "Cartridge" bearing / output housing so it would better index a fixed length held by a O.D. web when assembled while also better taking direct thrust loads without slipping further inward when needing the longer length. Some drives need housing bottomed out within drive if using solder on flex ferrels. Compression collets on welded stub shaft/cable assemblies don't thrust on end of drive housing. So what exact custom fix you need is a easily adapted too with some guidance.
* Point I am attempting to make is, If you simply build an output housing with the desired length and adapt it to whom evers drive ? ... you can get what ever prop positioning you want :good:
Note: OEM housing on bottom, custom on top.
