which is best if any

lynny created the topic: which is best if any

help the hull i have at present runs very wet and i have been told this is because of a large hook defect in the stern of the hull. i was thinking of filling and sanding this but i think this could make things worse.
so i think i will buy a new hull and swap the hardware over off the present hull.
there are 2 hulls i am looking at both by aeromarine 1st a 50" appache 2nd 48" challenger pro hull . i would be running a standard 26cc zenoah in it.

which is best and could you tell me if these hulls come with imperfections like the one i have now

thanks for any advice, i live in uk so have to purchase them in uk because of delivery costs.

That's a very good question, I have seen both hulls running in full flight (singly)and against each other. They both have very similar handling properties, and can both be set up the same or differently. So there is not that much difference between the two, so if someone stuck a gun to my head and said decide I would more than likely go for the Apache. But that is only my personal preference. If it was someone else it could go either way.
It is only personal feelings but you can't go wrong with Aeromarine, they are that good.

All hulls have slight imperfections in them its the nature of fibreglass ,as it shrinks. These hulls are polyester resin so its just how it is ,some are worse than others and depends how much we are talking about as to wether it will effect anything.Im starting some moulds for a 57" apache tomorrow and hope to have the first hull pulled from them in arround 3-4 weeks.Im in the UK and my prices are very good and :) my hulls will come with an option for carbon rienforcement if required.I allways leave my hulls in the moulds for two days to avoid shrinkage and twisting etc.If your interested shoot me a pm. :)
