Hydro Turning

seaboyblue created the topic: Hydro Turning

Hello guys, I have noticed that it's very difficult to turn my hydro left when full throttle on a straightaway. When I let go the throttle with full left turn, she tends to lift and blow over.
Is this the norm for a hydro? What will cause this?

Thanks

For hydros ... VERY normal
Some better or worse than others, but universal is you DON"T go left at speed with hydro's unless you want to go up side down, trip or blow off ;)

Ditto. RC Hydros are made to turn right. :) Going left at full throttle will pretty much always spell disaster. Left is only used for avoidance...to do so, you hope you have enough time to let off throttle, make your move and get back on! Some hydros try to correct this inherent flaw by adding weight in the port sponson. It works to some extent.

Yep, left = upside down :woohoo: , you can make small corrections but any sharp turns and over she goes, but thats why I love my Hydros they take a bit more drivin, you gotta have your wits about you especially with a fast one B)
