The flex shaft I just bought is 3/16 and has the spiral design to it. The input for my flywheel is threaded 3/16. I have no idea how to connect them. Any help?

You will need a 1/4" shaft and a collet thar screws onto your 3/16 flywheel for a bout the size you have.
Your best bet would be to call Tony at Warehouse Hobbies & have a chat with him. He'll be able to get you all the parts you need to get your boat on the water.
