HI YALL

IM KINDA NEW TO RC BOATING BUT HAVE READ ALOT ABOUT THE NEUROTOXIN ENGINE FROM TOXIC RACING MOTORS.

I JUST WANTED TO ORDER THIS ENGINE AND CAME BY THAT THEY HAVE UPDATED THIS SITE RECENTLY. THEY HAVE A NEW ENGINE IN STORE THE "ANTHRAX" WHAT DO U GUYS JNOW ABOUT THIS ENGINE??????????????

WOULD ALSO WANT SOME IDEAS ABOUT WHAT ENGINE TO USE ???HAVE A RIO 51

As for Al's engines heard nothing but good things, tho really we don't see them talked about that often.
Pretty sure in threads i have read the names are an evolution thing and those older versions can be upgraded to newer specs by returning engine to Al's shop.

Honestly this specific question would be best directed to the man himself

I have one of Al's motors in an Insane hydro.... It flies! I have no idea what his specs are... Sorry on that point... I saw that you have a Rio 51.... I'm sure that boat would be a screamer with a motor of that horsepower, just remember that you may have to re-prop, adjust its c/g, and work with a tuned pipe that may or may not fit in the stock configuration. Be careful - I'm not sure how well made they are, but a good flip or spin could damage the hull... Use plenty of extra flotation so you dont lose that motor!

I've seen a few of Al's engines up close and personal and what I can say about them is two things: his port work is clean and superior to many of the engine builders out there, and also that he seems to be the kind of guy to go his own way about modding engines, and not copying stuff that others are doing. I have to say I like that about him.

As far as I know, the differences between the Anthrax and the previous versions are: higher exhaust timing than any of his previous versions. Also he was testing with Teflon coated pistons with ceramic coated domes. As far as I know this is to be an available option to the engines.
