Last year MGB built a Speed Freak Hydro. I never saw the results of the test on the boat. I would like to know what you guys think about the boat. I have one and will race it this season. It is one of the best driving boats I have ever owned.

My tests were never finalized due to personal stuff and lack of free time. In the short time that I did have to test it, I never actually got it to run the way I would have wanted it to. Maybe I was just expecting too much, not sure, so I want a second opinion. In a couple weeks the boat will be sent to Will Nichols who will finish the testing and report back. Unfortunately I can't do any testing until another couple of months so this will help accelerate things. Sorry about the delays on this one.

Thanks for the reply. I am sure Will will get to the bottom of the problem. I have not raced mine yet. However it is ready for the 2011 season. In race trim the boat ran in the mid sixties the first time in the water. After a few adjustments the boat was running in the high sixties. 69.2 mph to be exact. Our lake here in St. Louis MO. can be very rough at times and the boat did very well under some very challenging conditions. Thanks again for the reply, and keep up the good work. sorry, to hijack, but what lake do you run in St. Louis? I live in west kentucky and have a brother in St. Louis. we are both building and enjoying gas boats and was wondering where the community hangs out?
