Just got my EZ pull starter

jmfairbanks created the topic: Just got my EZ pull starter

I just got my ez pull starter for my zenoah g260. It makes it so much easier to start, but it causes my engine to vibrate so much more. Has anyone else had this issue with them? Im wondering if i tried to balance the piece that goes on the engine or is this just something you have to deal with with this type of starter

Not heard of anyone stating before having increased vibration ?
But that said if you have a small lathe certainly would not hurt truing up the whole assembly some.

* I have noted on many that I modify so they fit without the standoff spacers that when trimming them down some they certainly are Not cast very evenly

Thanks for the advice, im just thinking that going from the small round piece with the dogs on it to the rectangle piece may cause it to be out of balance some. below is a pisture of what i had and what i went to
