walbro wa167 inlet nipple replacement

dazzido created the topic: walbro wa167 inlet nipple replacement

Hi had boat out today and was constantly cutting out so had a look & noticed loads of air in return pipe,on further examination and blowing down return fuel pipe i,ve found the problem which is fuel spurting out from the carb feed nipple which must have a crack in it.Is it possible to change the one attached to the carb body?if so how does it fit or are they just pressed in? I don,t want to strip it just yet incase im in need of a carb.thanks in advance Darren

Fitting are pressed in, usually you will break the plastic part then need to EZ out the brass spud

You can then press in another making sure barb is correctly pointed ... OR, tap hole 10-32 and thread in a water jacket type fitting of your choice :cheer: ( Be sure to loc-tite threads to seal em up )
