Hi Craig just like to say yes i do take my flexy out after each run and wipe down using a wragg,i also clean out strut around bushes & stuffing tube.At moment im using silicone sealer inside strut to stuffing tube joint because im experimenting with different strut angles slightly, once i,ve found the spot im happy with i,ll fix it more permanent maybe but really the silicone i use is good stuff, its the stuff used for assembling glass fishtanks which is my other hobby.I,ve no play in my bushes it,s just the screw action of the flexy pushing grease to the bottom,it,s not a problem as i always reinsert the flexy & regrease before each run but would,nt mind trying an oiler as i believe grease creates drag which means wasted power. When i was shopping around for a stinger i wanted a needleroller one but when ordered they had no stock so ended up getting a bushed one,at top of my stuffing tube i,ve a bearing housing fitted with a ballrace with the grease nipple on top,all im gonna do is replace the nipple with another so oil can run down instead & see how it goes.Had boat out again today and pleased with results for standard 23cc zenoah pum, trying different props so will let you know the outcome soon.Todays video for you,s to see
Cheers Daz
