can a G23pum 2 port 4 bolt be converted to a G260pum just by swapping the top end parts?if not can the bottom be converted and how?thanks Darren

If you have a 230 DONOR engine with a tight crank, ALL parts "But The Top End" from your 230 will go into/onto G231/260 cases.

Zenoah 231/260 cases with bearings can be found for $40 or so, a NEW 260 top end kit about the same $$ .... Will need a 260 water jacket and some gaskets to do the swap.

Going to cost you @ $100 or so doing it.

** May want to Contact Mitch at Quick Draw Marine and see if they have any 260 kits for cheap ? ( they take the major parts out for QD builds selling off the unused parts )
