Guys, I'm in the market for a new radio, preferably a pistol grip. What is the preferred or most popular among you and why. Thanks for your time....

This might not be much help if you're looking to buy a complete new radio, but if you're like me and have some older module radios that you like a lot, you can upgrade most of them with the Xtremelink stuff. I still use my 2 old and trusted JR-R1 radios, upgraded to 2.4 with the Xtremelink systems...works awesome!

Hi Marc, thanks, I used to fly gliders and both of my Multiplex radios are XPS 2.4 conversions. I'm looking to get into a pistol grip because I find it easier than a stick configuration. Whatever I get, I will most likely go with another XPS conversion. I am currently looking at a Futaba 3PK FM TX. I'm not a big fan of Futaba's 2.4 system,I still think XPS is far superior to it.

Actually the Futaba Fasst system is one of the best systems out. I have a 3PM Fasst and it's been glitch free for 3 years now.
