Boat Launching Ideas

mitchesx created the topic: Boat Launching Ideas

Anyone else have issues launching their own boats when testing or running alone? Seems that time is catching up with my boating buddies and they are able to go less and less. Vees arent difficult, nor are cats most of the time, and even my t-boat doesnt mind a non-aggresive launch. But sport hydros are a different story. I never seem to be able to get enough forward momentum to break the drag and get onto plane. Either I get water over the deck, or just too much load on the prop, and it dies before I can get enough throttle to it. Anyone have any suggestions???

If i can launch twin rigger myself, anybody should be able to launch anything themself

seriously... i hold the transmitter backwards basicly in my left hand that way i can get a bit better grip holding it and the sponson on the boat..with my thumb on the throttle that way i can give it some throttle as im tossing the boat in.
