Hi Guys,

As some of you know Ive been having coil troubles lately. I was wondering if any of you have an electric start on your zeonah engine and if does it negate the need for coils???

All an electric starter does is turn the engine over, instead of having to pull the rope... The coil is still needed for the engine to run...

Hi Brandon did you read the comment Marc mentioned about the grey coils playing up in the way you describe?think cheapest i have seen the coils is for £30-£40 on ebay.more than likely that will cure your fault.Keep us informed of the outcome please m8.regards Darren

I saw those on ebay alright and I want to get them but my dad is being a pain and wants to take every strimmer apart in the country to try and find a coil!!! We'll have to get the ones on the net eventually but hes paying so there's little I can do

Like one of the guys said in one of my other posts after I get this one going ill be busy making improvements and electric start is in the line up so I was just wondering what was the story.

Would it be possible to use the coil off a Zenoah G23 on my G26 if I found a way to mount it properly??? or has anyone ever tried this madness!! I like the more compact nature of that setup having the two coils incorporated into one. Ive gone to a couple of two stroke dealers already and they find the two coil setup on the G26 a bit weird.
