Looking to put a clutch on mine. What kind will fit and will I have to move the motor forward?? Oh I'm new to boating to so I have no idea about this stuff thanks.

Being clutch has greater diameter than a cable collet, most uses where a "non" clutched engine was installed, a higher engine placement above hulls bottom required for clearance. If fitting the clutch on engine clears hull ? ... use a shorter drive cable and just run it !

I believe your boat has never hit water yet - why not try it first and see if u need a clutch - most will slow down pretty good just at idle.

Why do u want to add a clutch?

Try it ............ maybe you will like it without clutch

Well I got the boat in the water today runs good. Took it slow just to see how it run. I love the boat and power.
