I have an electric RC boat but am dissatisfied with the very limited run time. What is the typical run time for a gas boat? What gas boats should I consider buying?

It really depends on what you want to build it for, if your going to be racing or its just a fun boat.
If your not going after any speed records, its up to how big a tank you can fit in it and still get the COG within limits.
The bigger the boat the more room you have to move things around get it all to fit and balance.

Hi broylesb I'm in the same boat as you after many blown speedies and lipos I have turned to gas I find the fuel cheaper than nitro and gas engines are hold the tune better including longer run times I have found this site very helpful with tips and advice thanks mgb just do your research before you start building good luck
