Canadian Hot Rod RC Boats replied the topic: Re: stroker cranks
Not sure about the 2mm stroker (whose crank is that?) I have used 1mm strokers and they seem to help torque somewhat - I didn't really think was that much improvement.
I think your money is better spent on one of the 28.5 Zenoah kits as hard to beat - no replacement for displacement
more cubic inches = more power
I would look at one of those kits before a stroker crank.
And to what gasket - you would need to measure 'squish' (distance from top of piston to top of cylinder) and use what ever gasket gets u the desired 'squish measurement' u want
Not as simple as install 2mm+ crank and use 'X' gasket - motors vary what works for 1 may not work for others
A better question may have been "WHat can I do to increase power on my engine" - the way you state it sounds like u already decided a 'stroker' crank will make big power ---- Not
A 28.5 kit with a 1mm RCMK stroker is 29.5 and ya they make power .....
Does that help u at all
And yes .. someone answered .................
