Dave's (PMB) stuff is pure race bred top of the line boats. Hard to find a nicer and more knowledgeable guy with RC boats. Few World champs over in their stuff

Great boat ..

Hi David

I echo what Randy said. With PMB products and in the hands of its owner Dave Marles, you get some of the best stuff available and importantly when you need some advice from Dave he is always willing to give it in abundance.

In respect of the Lynx, the three "built" static photos on his site show my boat which came from him.

In respect of the boat in action, this short clip shows two of them head to head. Mine is doing the chasing. This footage was taken before further trimming out to improve stability and before finding the best prop. Both boats in this clip have stock zens and wrap to centre manifolds so there is lots of scope to improve their speed.

Hi Guys

I should add that having been sufficiently impressed with buying my IC stuff from PMB over the last 30 years, I bought the Thunder boat for my winter build project from Dave. Not surface drive but this will be powered by the Zen7 and should be very fast!

It is totally new territory for me as I have never worked with Epoxy boats.

This pic shows what I have to start with!

Dave is a very nice guy. I finally got to see one of his monos up close a year or two ago. It was a long one, in the 50" range I'd say. Carbon fiber. Was a nice piece!

Hi Randy

First part of any build for me is a decent plywood stand made to fit the hull. I will open a separate thead in due course when I start building the boat as I realise I'm going off topic here!
