I know right! they show the air cooled methonal/oil version in the pics, but they are working on a gas, v-12, v-8, IL-6, and IL-4 (due out in 2013 for mass production)all of which are cnc produced and water cooled. one of the blips says that they even use stainless steel pipes of "0.5mm" which is crazy to think about working with but cool non the less...

I cant wait to see some prices, as i hope that they are lower in price than that of the conley engines. I would come up with 2G's for a V8 to go in a wood boat im thinkin about building.

the video and links on the website are sick and the sound is great! cant imagine how cool the would sound with a water cooled header.... hmmmm

Those engines are really impressive. Must be perfect for a true engine nerd - and then nothing more. I don't believe they ever can beat a well tuned Zen in a race.
On the downside they are not cheap, and will demand a fulltime engine crew just for maintenance. Not mentioning expences for lots of spare parts.
A single cylinder engine is spare parts x 1.
Two 12 cylinder engines is roughly spare parts x 24, and equal difficulties.

Anyway: Go for it! I really respect people with the patience, the money and the time, for setting up something like this!

Cheers! :cheer:

true that woody, those nitro motors are really cool, but my single cylinder ones have always been querky and hard to tune. But that same company is coming out with a 160cc gas and water cooled one which i am very interested in...
