Removing ethanol from gas

Steve Seebold created the topic: Removing ethanol from gas

I remember seeing an article a few months/years ago that gave a brief discription on how to remove ethanol from gasoline.

Anyone rember that?

I FOUND IT. I looked on ASK.COM and the instructions there say to put a gallon of gas in a clear container with a lid and add water. Shake vigorously, then let the container sit while the water and gas separate, then pump/pour off the gas. The water acts as a catalyst and the ethanol is mixed with the water and the two separate from the gasoline.

Easy enough, I think.

I use a small petcoke just above the water line and drain off my 100% fuel this way . I get 1gal of 87oct add 4oz of water shake let stand still over night , open petcock above water line and get to the pond with 100% gas . Been doing this now for 2 months . Works great in my fun boats .
