Randy, are you talking about me? I haven't been sick, but I lost my mom 2 weeks ago.

I'm the only one I knew at my age (68) who still had both his parents.

Glad to hear your not sick - but sorry to hear of your Mom. It's tough no matter how old you are - I lost my Mom last year and my Dad in '86. Still miss them both everyday. I still do lots of the "What would my Dad do ?" when I'm thinking of mechanical stuff ....

I did. I've had 7 TIA's (mini strokes) in the last 5 1/2 years. It takes a couple of weeks, but I've managed to get past them every time so far.

I know when they are coming because I get douple vision just before it happens so I get my a$$ to the hospital.

I'm lucky --- I only get double vision when wife hits me with metal objects for buying RC stuff

I have a simple solution for that. I just don't tell her what I bought, although it's rather obvious when a large box containing a new boat shows up on the front porch.

Most of the time, I have the garage door open and the UPS or FEDEX driver will just leave it in the garage.

There is a downside to having double vision: If you think you are building a cat, it turns out to be a mono
