Clutch removal

Captain Hook created the topic: Clutch removal

I have a bad bearing on the clutch outer bell on my Zenoah powered Pro Boat hydro. I don't need the clutch and plan to remove it. What do I put back on the Zenoah to drive the cable?

You buy a Collet for Zenoah. It has an inside taper that matches the crank taper and an internal screw that goes inside and threads inside the crank pulling the collet tight against it. You can use a round insert or a square one inside the collet depending on you flex shaft preference.

CC Racing has all the parts on this page: www.ccracingengines.com/index....t=0&sort=normal

problem is when you remove clutch you need a longer cable - Pro Boat uses square input and a furrel at other end - which is reduced shaft size inside

If you remove clutch - you need collet, cable , shaft saver. new cable, and change bushings in strut to 1/4"

Cheers
