Dear MGB modellers

Can anyone recommend a particularly good marine grade grease for my shafts. I've tried most of the reputable high temp, high vibration, high viscosity, tacky and waterproof greases but nothing seems to last too long at 18k revs. Tks.

nothing does last , most of us have switched to auto oilers.instead of mucking around with grease.

I use a #2 marine grease & a grease gun to lubricate the shaft. No grease comes out in the boat because of the Teflon seal mounted in the rubber boot. The rubber boot is made from a radio box seal. When the rubber boot swells up during greasing, enough grease has been applied to the cable. The cable is never removed except for inspection. The shafts windings & rotation carry the grease down towards the strut.
