Last week my karka on this site was 4, today I noticed it's 2. Have I done something to piss someone off? If I have, someone could at least step up and tell me what you're upset about. Don't just hide behind your keyboard.

That Karma score system in the left margin is a total joke. It means
absolutely nothing and I don't know why Marc and Carlo even have it
up there.

Any *ick *ead (not mentioning any names here) with nothing better to
do can ram your Karma number either up or down at lot in just a few
days with a little bit of effort - so how can the number have any
meaning???

Real Karma (the one that each of us generates and has no numerical
rating) is the thing to be concerned with. The only conduct that can
build that kind of Karma is attending to family, friends and community
as best one is able to day in and day out.

Now, I hope you get so busy enjoying a very nice Holiday that you will
completely forget about that Karma number - it really is meaningless.

I'm in total agreement CC! How does this nonsense help anyone learn about model boating. Ignore it Steve, "karma" is not worth the time or effort it takes to write the word. Are these people adults or children who play these silly games?

I will mention the Karma thing to Marc and see if we can get rid of it all together. I have never really paid much attention to it so i was never really worried about it.

I for one, pay no attention to any kind of "ratings" on any forum. BUT, if it's meaningless to some members, why the lip service to begin with? The only reason I could "maybe" see it, is to give newbies some sense of the experience/reliability of the person responding to their questions. But then that's no more reliable than post counts, as we have seen in the past.

Over-all, a non issue for me.

I will see if I can remove it...but if memory serves me correctly, I looked into this before and it was tied into some other function of the forum that I did NOT want to let go so I left it as is. I will look into it again and see if I can remove it, ... the small things ... I tell you!

Again, Boats you do not know what you are talking about. The karma BS can only be changed once every 6 hours. How does Jim Allen do this several times a Day?
