Hi one and all, I have just started on my R 42 and so far so good .
I have installed the rudder , strut , water inlet through the transom , quad exhaust , pair of auto drainage outlets 3 aluminium blue right angel inlets (2 for water 1 for fuel) - .
I have also made a start on the radio box .
I also have a motor mounts / brackets.
All i need to save up for is a motor , radio gear and a tune pipe 2'' band not sure whether to get a aluminium , stainless steel or a steel tuned pipe - any suggestions?.
By the time i have got all that i cant wait until i can get this boat in the water .
I have been taking some pictures as i will down load them when the boat is finished .

If your wondering what the camera guy was talking about burning.
I had 3/4" heater hose on the exhaust so I could run it while I waited on the silicone I now have on the exhaust extension.

HI there, One very nice R42 -- Your exhorst set up is different to most i have seen how do you find it? .
What size motor have you put in your boat? .
The only difference in your boat and mine ( Hull ) is that i have put 2 x 40 - 50 mm (wide) X 42 (long) stripes of carbon fibre stickers on the top/sides of the Hull .
Q what size / type of prop/s are you using ?.
