No eBay APP ID défined in Kunena configurationI'm getting ready to order the hardware for my 48" wildthing mono and I'm not entirely sure what I need. I am using a weed eater with a square end flex shaft. I understand that I need to somehow attach a round end of the flex shaft to a ferrule + prop shaft. What I don't understand is how and if a ferrule can be used with a stinger drive. Does the ferrule fit into the stinger or does it go on the inside of the boat like in my diagram.


Could someone confirm if these parts are compatible:

The WHH system that Randy is talking about is the SPDIII. I have that system in my boat love it no lost props unless you loose the prop nut. The one down fall is the bushings in the "cartage" don't get lubricant from the flex shaft.

So if I were to use the stinger like the one I linked I would need a square end cable with a stub shaft pre-soldered, made to the length I need.

Ahh right, I didn't realize that.

I found out that zippkits makes a stinger that fits a ferrule inside so I'll most likely just order from them.
