Looks older. not sure what the original engine was. Not sure I like the placement of the 2 new motors. looks like it might be a fun and fast boat fixed up right. I own a mower shop and have never seen these engines before??? All comments welcome

Both of those look like pure junk and are DEFINATELY not worth $600. For $600 dollars you can get something much more modern and with only one engine since it looks like you are just getting into boating.

Old, outdated and heavy boats...Do Not Waste Your $$$! Personally I would not take them if they were Free!
Has old Homelite air cooled engines and cheap unreliable drive systems, which maybe the owner finally came to realize they are useless and high maintenance and trying to get some recoup in selling them. The biggest mistake new people make when getting into this is buying something cheap or cool looking without a clue of what they are really getting..and then get frustrated in wasting money or of the poor performance.
Depending what you want to do Sport Boat, Heat Race or both there are better hulls and engines out there that would give you better performance, less headache and be reliable

Thanks I was thinking of building a twin engine unit.

I talked to the guy and maybe trading a mower for the boats.. Green Hydro> Both props turning in the same direction?? Is that a problem? Will it pull hard to one side? He said it had one motor with some kind of dual drive system. He couldn't find parts for it. So he put the twin air cooled in. I can always pull the motors and put them back on weedeaters. I own a mower shop. And put 2 water cooled boat engines in......
