The LOW is between 1 3/8 - 1 5/8 turns out

The HIGH is between 1 1/8 - 1 1/4 turns out

This is the range we find that works in South Florida heat and humidity. They most often finish tuning at 1 3/8 Low and 1 1/8 High

Hey Daniel, Here in puerto rico our temperature normally is in 90 and humidity level is very high. So, what do you recomend me? More Reach or more leaner in those neadle ajustments

The spring pressure does not need adjustment to run perfectly.

Most of the 1048's I have are modified and run considerably better than stock.

The carbs when tuned for maximum performance do not run lean even at sustained 19,500 rpm. The plug color is some of the best I have seen.

I always tune on the rich side. Many will lean a engine out till it slows down then come back a hair. I do similar except I find maximum performance on the lean side just to know where that is then I richen it up till it slows down then back in a hair.

Just saying I like a engine tuned just a little on the fat side.
