A lot of guys toe-in the fin...I had machined the bracket on mine to do this. Only a few degrees. Seems no matter how sharp I got the fin it always pulled a bit. This cured it instantly.

The bracket for the fin is slotted so it should tilt in a little.. Marc. Or do you mean back of fin out and front in.

You do have to make sure that the turn fin is parallel with the boat also

Im not talking about tilt, Im talking about toe-in, as you would do on a rigger sponson, or car front wheels, etc... you can toe-in the fin slightly. They might not all need it, but mine did, and I know a few very fast ones that were setup the same. :) Some shim the strut a bit...that's not my preferred method though, but there are different ways to "skin a cat". :)

We are talking about the turn fin on a Whiplash here, not a rigger. I am simply saying that I have had good success on my old whip by adding slight toe-in to the fin. That was my preferred method as opposed to shimming the strut. Again, that was MY experience with MY whiplash. :)

I maybe missing something. What is it you do to the Turn Fin to get Toe-in? Do you shim the Turn Fin Bracket at the sponson?
