I'm finally back, and no hardware for sale (ever again).
I decided in January of 2005 that I was going to take a year off and concentrate on building my business. That year turned in to almost 3 years, and a near heart attack.
I went in the hospital for an angiogram on October 17, 2007, and when all was said and done, I had a 5 way bypass and a aortic valve replacement.
Before I went in, I had a bunch of new hardware prototyped, and dealers lined up to sell it. While I was in the hospital, and after my surgery, I decided that I don't need this anymore. When I was healthy enough to start some work again, I went in and began selling off the equipment, and everything else that was business related.
As of January 7, 2008, Seebold Engineering and Seebold Motor Sports are no more. Now I will have time to enjoy my boats again.
I have been working on 2 new Y-6 mono's when I had time for the last year. One has a Ron Buck Zenoah, and the other has a QDHT25. I hope to have them ready for the March race.
I plan on making all the local races this year, but I'm not healthy enough to travel to the out of town races yet. I should be able to attend 5 of the district 19 races this year. I hope so any way.
You guys gave a great year, and I hope to see you on the water. SOON.
