Curious to know what you guys considered to be the boat you found most fun/reliable to just play around with...not talking racing here.

I for one love to run boat when I go to the cottage in the summer. I often bring my race boats to try them out in rougher water, but most if the time the lake gets TOO rough for your average race boat, that's when I would have a blast with big boats like the WHH Magnum 57. Jumping over 1ft + waves and loving it! Puts a grin on my face and helps me forget about other stuff sometimes!

I have an Apache 57" that I want to setup with an inline twin eventually. If I can ever get to it!

Mine was about 15 years ago. boat was an early PRATHER fast cat (before the Lap cats) .21 size tunnel hull.
I had taken off the outboard and installed a .40 O.S. inboard sport marine engine, a tuned pipe & set it up with typical transom hardware.

This little tunnel hull would run threw damn near any kind of water, turn left or right and just worked sweet.
Not very fast, maybe 45 on a good day

I had to chime in after seeing Scott's post - I have an AM 21 Sprint Cat with an OPS 45 in it. She's fast down the straight, but won't turn in the smaller of the two locations we run boats at. Throws one helluva tail too! Its a handful, and a challenge to drive - people driving by nearly rear-end each other to watch as it screams by! With a 16 oz tank, I can run as many laps as my gas Seaducer with the 500 ML IV bag.... I was sick when my main motor chewed up a bearing in the middle of the summer, got it and the backup all spruced up - can't wait for the weather to break. ;D

At the moment I love the new Razor. It runs exactly the way I love on monos. runs great through the corners and loose enough on the straights to give you the little "kick".
