In the meantime, can you post a picture of the pullstart? Might be the same we commonly use. Also there is a short article on the main site here on how to recoil the spring in one...might help.

Yes thanks Marc, I saw that, I took it off and am thinking of trying to recoil it. I am hoping that works, I will let you know. Can't wait to get her in the water I will post pics as soon as I do!
