Rigger set up

What is the recommended strut set up on a rigger, do you use the same as the seaducer hydro strut set up found on the site by Marc?

That question has no definitive answer :S ....
Pending of Riggers style, 3 point, 4 point, weight distribution and ride attitude requirements, the struts depth angle and prop used will all be part of the ideal set up specs.

So lets turn this around and ask: ..... What rigger are you working with ?

Sorry I am a rookie, its a warlock rigger and I will be starting out with a 6719-3. I really just want to know if the starting point will be the same as the hydro as far as placing on the table flat and adjusting the strut the same way

I would start the same way, but as Scott said, each one is a different beast. If it has rear sponsons I would start flush with them. This is assuming you have no instructions from the manufacturer. Scott has more experience than I with riggers, so I would listen to his advice! BTW, some ABC props are killer on riggers and hydros. :)

6719's are GREAT rigger props and seem to work best when they can run with water just over the top of props hub.
So what I would do for a baseline set up would be place boat on set up table with the flat portion of tub level with table, then set depth of prop/strut so the top of drive dog/ strut housing is level with set up board.
